Have a post that didn't get auto posted at the scheduled time?

This guide will help you solve the problem. Please follow each step in this guide.

Step 1. Check your Facebook Page role

To enable auto post, you'll also need to have the admin or editor role on the Facebook page. If you're the Facebook page creator, you should already have the admin role. But if the Facebook page is created by someone else, you may not have been granted the admin or editor role for this Facebook page.

How to check your role:

  1. Log in to Facebook on your computer

  2. From your News Feed, click Pages in the left menu.

  3. Go to your Page and click Settings in the bottom left.

  4. Click Page Roles in the left column.

From here, you can see your role listed below your name.

If your role is not admin or editor, you will need to have the role to enable auto post. Only the admin can manage the role settings for a page.

Step 2. Check your app permissions

To auto post on your Facebook Page, Apphi needs to be granted full permission to your Facebook Pages. It's important to allow access to all permissions. If a permission is missed, the connection will fail and the posts will fail too.

To check the permissions, you can reset your Facebook and Apphi connection. This will allow you to reselect the permissions granted to Apphi and ensure Apphi has full access.

How to reset your Facebook and Apphi connection:

Part 1. Remove Apphi from your Facebook

  1. Open Facebook app > go to Menu on the bottom right corner

  2. Scroll down to the bottom and tap Settings & Privacy > Settings

  3. Under Settings, tap Business Integrations

  4. Select Apphi Post and tap Remove

  5. Tap Remove again (DO NOT TICK the box)

Part 2. Reconnect Apphi to Facebook

  1. Open Apphi app > go to Settings > Added Social Account

  2. Tap "+" button on the top right corner > select Facebook Page > tap Continue > tap Open in Facebook

  3. Log in to your personal Facebook account that's connected to your Instagram business account. This account must be an admin for the connected Facebook page.

    1. If the right personal Facebook account is already logged in, tap Continue as yourname.

    2. If the name shown on the page is the one connected to your Instagram, tap Cancel and log out of the current account. Then log in to the right personal Facebook account and restart from Step 2-3.

  4. Select all Facebook Pages you'd like to connect to Apphi > tap Next

  5. Choose what you allow and make sure all permissions are enabled > tap Done

  6. Tap OK
